POLO presents on the future of our cities at the 'Themadag Duurzame Bouw'
On Wednesday, June 4, the Themadag Duurzame Bouw (Sustainable Building Themeday) will take place in Brussels, bringing together over 120 professionals from the Netherlands and Belgium. This important event offers a unique platform to share challenges, ambitions, and expertise in the field of sustainable construction, with a focus on innovative projects that shape the future of urban living.
POLO is honored to be among the speakers presenting. Patrick Lootens (ir. architect, urbanist, founding partner) will share insights from one of our winning competition designs, Evers 2 — a project that exemplifies a radical approach to urban sustainability and adaptive reuse.
Evers 2
As cities face the dual pressures of sustainability and density, the reuse of heavy, inert architecture becomes a radical act. Evers 2 is an exercise in reactivation: a project that embraces the rigour of the existing, and turns it toward the rhythms of student life, shared space, and contemporary urban living.
We look forward to sharing this vision and discussing how we can collectively build more sustainable cities during the Themadag Duurzame Bouw.
