Alliance-building through spatial narratives

In broadening our role as designer to that of spatial strategist, we seek to link our profession to disciplines such as sociology, psychology, ecology… Labs initiates interdisciplinary collaborations in the realisation that design alone cannot save the world. We possess the skills necessary to devise inclusive spatial narratives that overcome existing polarised positions and build alliances between diverse stakeholders and specialists in the pursuit of real change.

This implies we do not shy away from exploring the political and ethical dimensions of spatial design. The base motivation for all our efforts is improving people’s quality of life. We do this at all scale levels through working intensively with our Interior Design, Architecture and Urbanism teams. And ultimately these concerns extend onto a planetary scale, in a continuous preoccupation with the use of resources — with space being a precious resource.
