Winning proposal selected for Campus De Nayer renovation

POLO.platform has been appointed to renovate the largest building on the De Nayer Campus in Sint-Katelijne-Waver, following a competitive dialogue procedure. The project is part of the broader campus masterplan, which focuses on clarity, sustainability and a vibrant learning environment.

Over the years, the building complex had become a patchwork of extensions and alterations. POLO’s design introduces targeted interventions that restore legibility, strengthen circulation and upgrade energy performance, while keeping the robust existing structure.

The interventions are proposed to breathe new life into a worn but functional structure, preparing it for decades of intensive student use.
