The new Kasterlinden campus aspires to be a friendly learning environment tailored to the children, where they can feel at home, adapted to the special needs of education for children with disabilities: vision or hearing impairment, speech disorders, and autism.

Green environment

To accomplish this, the concept starts with a green environment. Three green spaces are created, each with their own character and identity, with buildings meandering in between. The design of a sustainable school is determined by the concept, the choice of material and components, the long-term exploitation and energy efficiency.
